DESCRIPTION:Lent always begins forty weekdays before Easter on Ash Wednesday. The name comes from the ancient custom of the imposition of ashes, which reminds us of God’s Word in Job, where it is written of man: “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return” (Job 42:6). This day is a reminder that we, too, shall die, and therefore need forgiveness from Jesus.  Two services will be held for Ash Wednesday, March 5th, at 2 PM and 6 PM. Join us for this special service!\n
