Children's Ministry at our Church
The spiritual formation of children is a top priority of our congregation. We believe there is no greater key to a child's physical, mental, and emotional development than a close relationship with Jesus. We want children and their parents to know that Jesus cares deeply for them. In fact, Jesus has promised, “I will be with you always” (Matthew 28:20). We promise that we will do our best to maintain a safe environment:
- Where every child feels welcome and included Focus on Gospel-Centered Learning
- Focus on growing children’s faith through Word and Sacrament while using appropriately aged materials to further their instruction.
- Walking alongside families as they train their and educate their children in the faith
- Experiencing joy as kids learn about Jesus together
These goals certainly apply to all of our youth and children ministries at our congregation. Every week, following the Divine Service (at 9 A.M.) children are welcomed and encouraged to join us for Sunday School in our nursery, at 10:30 A.M. Above all, our mission at Christ Lutheran is to carry out Christ's mission, proclaiming Jesus' forgiveness and salvation to all creation (Mark 16:15), bearing in mind what Peter wrote to the Church, instructing them to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18). We pray that the Lord blesses you and your children richly here at Christ Lutheran through God's glorious gifts!
